The Group owns cogeneration units for electric energy, allowing it self-sufficiency for a part of its processes, and has expansion projects aimed at achieving full self-sufficiency, therefore contributing to the domestic market without the use of additional resources while ensuring a source of cleaner energy. The Group also uses heat recovery methods in its processes, reinforcing and extending its sustainable commitment in its products.
Operating in all levels of the supply chain, the Group recently invested in multi-modal terminals with new truck fleets and in rail terminals for in-and-outbound logistics, carrying out cargo handling in an optimized, safe, and sustainable way. This ensures greater improvement in unit load and contributes to reducing air emissions.
